Answer to:
What Apostle replaced Judas?

Many people would reason that because the Apostles choose Mathias, and Jesus directly hand selected Saul (Paul) himself, plus Paul being featured so prominently in the scriptures as apposed to Mathias, that Paul would have been the logical choice…however…a closer examination reveals that that the Apostles prayed to Jehovah before their selection, so it was He who chose Mathias prior, directly related to the specific request to choose a replacement.

Sorry to harp on about deppression Brothers and Sisters, but it is an illness like having a thyriod problem for example, there is nothing one can do about it my deppression is a symptom of having had polio when i was 2years of age i am now 60 and the scriptures tell us to speak consolingly to the depressed souls, but i guess its not easy to do if your always blessed with being posotive, i dont always show people i am deppressed beacause people dont like it and neither do i so Jehovah has given me the gift of making people laugh and to always see the funnyside of life i love to crack jokes and make people laugh, and i must be honest if it wasn’t for knowing Jehovah i would of commited harry carry by now but now that i know i am going to be cured of my disability and my painful memories will not be bought to mind and we read Revelation 21:3,4 and about the wonderful hope of living in a paradise here on earth well this really helps me to cope wih my depression. So Kelly and anyone who is feeling sad take heart we will soon be feeling glad. i love everyone on J W N agape x :-))

Six decades of abuse at this Catholic Order in Ireland, with many more stories just as bad as this one. How many more abuses must one hear before they see that the Catholic Church is not looking after their parishoners, but for their own skins?….Jesus looked out at the crowds and felt pity for them, “for they were skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matt.9:36) Just as in Jesus day, the false religious leaders of today will be held accountable for such abuses of innocent little ones.

“Mosques are male houses, minarets are male power symbols.” YES! So, how can someone say that “it’s a symbol of political power,” and yet add this statement,”the minaret has got nothing to do with religion”? They are male power symbols indeed; they are Phallic symbols, and this involves worship — Phallic worship. But these symbols are found not only on mosques, they are prevalent THROUGHOUT CHRISTENDOM TOO. Take a good look at Christendom’s churches . . . and what do you see? Yes, minarets! How detestable these things are to Jehovah our God! I cannot wait for the total destruction of Babylon the Great!

Vinny V :It has been wondered and questioned many times Why Doesnt Jehovah with all his power Help Save The innoccent dying, starving and sick children of the world today ie Africa/Asia? Some people just cant understand why the innoccent children have to pay for their countries incompetence and greed. we all know it wouldnt take much for jehovah to feed and cure those innoccent children of diseases caused by mans/parents greed.

OK, Brother Vince, where is your next question for us?....I'm waiting as I'm sure others are around here....where are you? :)

Hi Kelly
In reguard to how tragedy effects people.
We as witnesses, are blessed with the knowledge, of knowing that through Jesus sacrificial death all wrong will soon be put right.
But we had to learn this, and that took time and effort.
To someone who has no knowledge of Jehovah God and his purposes, and is suffering, it will mean very little.
As their pain subsides, and they are able to build up their knowledge, and have a relationship with Jehovah,they will then, be able to appreciate this, as we do.
Until then, people will question what’s happening in the world, and come up with their own conclusions.

I suffer from clinical depression due to a chemical imbalance. It’s hereditary as my mother also has suffered for many years. I don’t think I would be here without the anti-depressant medication. Even though you can’t physically ’see’ the illness like you would a broken arm or leg, it’s a very real ailment and, perhaps, even more debilitating. Before I went back on the meds a year ago, I had very real thoughts of suicide. It was the most frightening thing I’ve ever experienced. But, Jehovah, the Hearer of Prayer, most certainly did hear my prayers and that helped me immensely. Also, the support of the congregation is priceless. Soon, now, no resident will say, “I am sick.” Won’t that be a wonderous time!
